Understanding What Our Support Agents Can and Cannot Do

At Uncompromized, your privacy is our highest priority. Our U.S.-based support team is here to help guide you through your identity protection tools—but it’s important to understand the boundaries of what they can and cannot access or assist with.


✅ What Our Agents Can Do

  • Provide general guidance on how to use your dashboard, monitoring tools, and data broker removal features.

  • Answer questions about how Uncompromized works, what certain alerts mean, and what steps you can take next.

  • Escalate serious issues (like financial loss due to fraud) to the proper internal teams or partners for investigation or resolution.

  • Help with login issues, password resets, and basic portal navigation.


What Our Agents Cannot Do

To protect your identity and privacy, our support agents are restricted from accessing or viewing any of your private information, including:

  • Your Social Security Number

  • Monitoring alerts or scan results specific to you

  • Data broker matches or removal status

  • Any personal profile data (address, date of birth, etc.)

  • Credit information or financial accounts

  • Email or phone numbers entered into the system

Even if you request it, agents cannot and will not view or edit your private data. This ensures your information stays visible only to you.


No Remote Support or Device Access

Uncompromized support agents do not provide remote help desk services. They cannot:

  • Connect to your computer

  • Troubleshoot software or browser issues

  • Remove viruses, spyware, or malware

  • Install or configure security software

If you require technical support for your computer or mobile device, please contact your provider or IT support team directly.
