Why Am I Getting Alerts?
When you first sign up for Uncompromized and enable monitoring, we begin scanning a wide range of sources, including:
The dark web (where breached personal data is often traded or sold)
Public data sources that may show leaked passwords or usernames
Sex offender registries near your address
Other exposed databases known to contain identity-related information
These alerts don’t necessarily mean someone is actively trying to steal your identity—they just mean we’ve found data tied to you that you should be aware of.
