What should I do and what's next?

What Should I Do?

  1. Stay calm. The alert is almost always informational, not an emergency.

  2. Read the details. If you get an alert, you can log into your portal.  Click Alerts on the left and you can read in detail what the alert consists of.

  3. Follow any guidance included. In some cases, we may recommend:

    • Changing a password

    • Monitoring a credit account

    • Watching for phishing attempts

  4. Don’t ignore repeat alerts. They could indicate a pattern or recent activity tied to your information.
